About Us

Supported by funding from the centers for Disease Control (CDC) from PEPFAR, the consortium worked with the MoHCC to strengthen the National IPC programme through the implementation of Zimbabwe Infection Prevention and Control Project (ZIPCOP). This was followed by the healthcare Tuberculosis Infection Prevention Project Zimbabwe Infection and Control Project (ZIPCOP). This was followed  by the Healthcare Tuberculosis Infection Prevention Project Zimbabwe(HATIPP-Zim) (2017-2019) to strengthen TB infection control and develop a draft policy to screen HCWs for TB. 

Currently the Association has been involved in activities to stregnthen IPC programmes in health facilities in the face of COVID-19, with support from Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL), CDC and other partners, The Associationhas two active branches in Harare and Bulawayo with plans underway to establish branches in the remaining provinces.
